We recently purchased a saddle for my mom who is getting back into riding later on in life. Naturally, both senior mom and senior horse have a more tailored requirement for correct saddle fit. Both horse and rider have their asymmetry issues and that can be a real challenge to fit.
To say Katrina went the extra mile to provide great customer service which includes education, proper fit and follow up to confirm fit and satisfaction from both mom and the horse, would be an understatement. Katrina showed up with plenty of time to spare and was never in a rush. She made sure to bring an entire car load of saddles to try and left no stone unturned to make sure we were doing the best for the horse and that it was the right saddle to keep mom balanced and safe. During the fitting Katrina really valued input from the rider about how it felt and we genuinely felt that she took what was relayed to her about how it felt and sat really seriously when considering which saddle to suggest next and how to modify it for the desired outcome.
At no point during the fitting or follow-ups did I ever get the sense she just wanted to sell a saddle regardless of fit or price gouge- in fact she took our budget very seriously and at no point made any attempt to sway from it. Her prices are extremely reasonable which makes buying the right saddle for your horse a no brainer. I feel like if I ever had a major problem with the saddle or somehow something went terribly wrong, I could call her at any time and she would make it a priority to find a fair and reasonable solution.
I would highly recommend her for anyone shopping for a saddle. In fact, I’m going to sell my current jump saddle and buy one of her Lovas jump saddles as I love the dressage saddle we purchased from her Lovas line so much!
I recently purchased this saddle for my wide backed guy and I couldn't be happier. He is no longer irritable while being saddled. I have long standing back issues that have always been bothered by riding. I have ridden more in the last few weeks than I have in ages and my back is quite happy. The saddle is also beautiful.
